Denise Hynes, Neil Bahroos, Buki Ogunseitan, and Andrew Boyd

The Biomedical Informatics (BI) Core is one of five service cores at the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) and provides services, consultation, and seminar series focused on clinical data resources, data management and database building, and software development in support of clinical and translational research. Projects include the UICollaboratory, a research social networking tool; building a clinical research data warehouse; BHIC, a monthly colloquia designed to facilitate research between biomedical and health informaticians and clinical and translational researchers. BI faculty and staff have expertise in research database design, clinical informatics, software development, information system design, data warehouse architecture, computational genomics and proteomics. For more information about the BI Core or the services provided, see the CCTS website.
